The vacancy
Hours: 35 hours per week / 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
At Housing 21, we’re growing, evolving and bringing new communities and colleagues into our organisation — and we’re looking for someone who wants to be right at the heart of that journey.
We are recruiting an Acquisitions & Projects Coordinator to help power our Operational Development Team through an exciting pipeline of acquisitions, new developments and operational projects that are shaping the future of our services.
This isn’t just a coordination role.
It’s an opportunity to help make change happen — supporting new schemes, welcoming residents and colleagues, and helping teams settle, connect and thrive.
What you’ll be part of
Housing 21 is on an ambitious journey of growth and operational transformation. You’ll help coordinate the moving parts that bring new services into the organisation and support projects that improve how we work across the country.
Some days you’ll be planning, organising and reporting. Other days you’ll be out at schemes, helping teams, supporting integration and seeing change come to life in real time.
This is a role for someone who is just as comfortable behind the scenes making things run smoothly as they are getting stuck in on site, supporting people and solving problems.
What you’ll be doing
· Coordinating and supporting acquisitions, new developments and operational projects across the organisation
· Keeping activities, workflows and communications running smoothly across the Operational Development team
· Working with colleagues across departments to gather information, track progress and support delivery
· Supporting scheme visits to help integrate new residents and employees into Housing 21
· Attending meetings, capturing key actions and helping ensure momentum is maintained
· Producing reports and insights that help teams make informed decisions
· Acting as a helpful point of contact for queries, challenges and coordination support

We support our employees to do what they do best, whether that’s through flexible working, learning new skills or being part of a friendly and supportive workplace culture. We also offer a great benefits package including Blue Light Card discount, holiday trade scheme, Occupational Sick Pay, Occupational Maternity Pay and more.
As part of our commitment to our employees and offering flexibility, we now offer a nine-day fortnight, providing employees with the opportunity to work their hours across nine days and have a three-day weekend every other week. Further details on how this works will be discussed with successful candidates upon an offer being made.
An offer of employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of an enhanced disclosure check, satisfactory references, and induction training.
